The Pub Show continues partnership with the BII for 2025
The Pub Show, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, has announced the continuation of its collaboration with the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) and the appointment of BII CEO Steve Alton as an Ambassador for the 2025 edition.
The BII has been in operation for over 40 years, providing its members with key support to help their businesses thrive, representing their voices in government to champion the pub and bar sector, and sharing best practices from across its diverse membership.
The Pub Show takes place on 17-19 March at Excel London and brings together owners and operators in the UK pub sector for three busy days of networking, product sourcing and learning about the latest industry trends, challenges and opportunities.
Alton comments: “Our pubs sit at the very heart of hospitality, as unique, warm, and welcoming venues. A huge part of our mission at the BII is to support our 13,000 members by sharing best practices across the sector. Collaboration and coming together are key to this, and we are delighted to be supporting The Pub Show again in 2025, giving us more fantastic opportunities to bring some of our key members and ambassadors to the show to talk about their brilliant businesses.
“For anyone in the industry, taking time out of your business to network, attend panel discussions, and source new suppliers is a must, and The Pub Show provides the perfect opportunity to access all of this and more in one place. We are hugely looking forward to partnering with The Pub Show team for this must-visit event.”
The organisation will be collaborating with The Pub Show team to shape the show’s content programme and will lead a session on The Pub Stage featuring leading pub owners and operators from its membership.
The BII will also be supporting International Salon Culinaire’s Pub Chef of the Year competition, sponsored by Essential Cuisine, where competitors will be challenged to create a delicious game-based main course featuring either venison or pheasant as the main ingredient. Judges will be looking for a twist on a well-known pub classic, demonstrating how it can be served with ease in a busy pub setting.
Jo Farish, Event Manager for The Pub Show, adds: “The BII has been a cornerstone of support for the pub and bar sector for over 40 years, and we’re excited to continue working with them for The Pub Show 2025. Our goal is to create a space where industry professionals can come together to share insights, tackle challenges, and celebrate the innovation driving the sector forward. The involvement of the BII and its members will once again add tremendous value, making the event an unmissable opportunity for learning and collaboration.”
