The Pub Show raises the bar with 2025 edition

The Pub Show 2025, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, has once again proven itself to be one of the leading UK trade shows for the pub sector, welcoming thousands of industry professionals to Excel London on 17-19 March for three days of networking, innovation, and expert-led discussions.
With a buzzing show floor and a packed programme of insightful sessions on The Pub Stage, this year’s event saw an impressive turnout of pub owners, operators, and hospitality professionals.
From ground-breaking discussions on sustainability and alcohol-free sales to live demos and immersive tasting experiences, The Pub Show 2025 provided an essential platform for the future of the pub trade.
The Beer Garden, designed by WH Silverbacks, was a lively hub of activity and a key networking space at the event. The Taproom, in partnership with Flightcase Bars, offered visitors the chance to explore a fantastic range of beers and ciders from independent brewers and brands, including Beyond Belief Brewing, Butcombe Brewing, Keltek Cornish Brewery, Lonkero, and Powder Monkey Brewing.
Meanwhile, the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) hosted a popular St Patrick’s Day Lock In event, bringing together pub operators for a spot of London Black from Anspach & Hobday, networking and connecting with industry peers.
Exhibitors at The Pub Show 2025 reported a highly successful event, with a strong visitor turnout and valuable business connections made.
Johnny Searle, Trade Marketing at FUNKIN Cocktails, shared: “We've got some great leads and have directed lots of potential customers to our business. We've had steady footfall throughout, and they're well-run shows.”
Reiss Baker, Field Sales Executive at LOVE CORN, added: “The Pub Show has been absolutely fantastic. Really wonderful, and we've enjoyed ourselves. People were trying the product and getting to know what it is, we were seeing lots of interest from bars, pubs, and restaurants.”
Attendees at The Pub Show and sister event HRC were equally enthusiastic, highlighting the invaluable opportunities to engage with peers, discover new trends, and take inspiration back to their businesses.

Key insights from The Pub Stage
The Pub Stage once again delivered an outstanding programme of discussions and panels, covering some of the most pressing topics in the industry.
The session on boosting sales with alcohol-free products featured industry leaders such as Laura Willoughby MBE, Co-Founder of Club Soda, Grace Goodlad of The Bailey Head, John McDonagh of The Venture Inn, and Lisa McBain of Fuller, Smith & Turner.
A panel on creating loyal and resilient pub teams, in partnership with the British Institute of Innkeeping, brought together Steve Alton, CEO of BII with speakers including Ollie Coulombeau of Bartons Mill and Steve Banks of The Woodman.
The power of play and how competitive socialising is redefining the pub experience was explored by Graham Cook of All Star Lanes, Lee Price of Royal Pier, Aberystwyth, and Victoria Mavin of The Bellringer.
A discussion on elevating pub performance through quality food was led by Emma McClarkin OBE, Chief Executive of the British Beer & Pub Association, with Alice Bowyer of Butcombe Group, Anthony Pender of Yummy Collection - The Victoria, and Gareth Davies of The Orange Tree showcasing how food offerings can drive footfall and revenue.
The Pub Show Quiz 2025 by Hashtag Hosts returned with a lively battle of pub knowledge, providing both entertainment and insights into quiz technology and software innovations for pubs.
